In 2012, Digital Kitchen teamed up with Widen + Kennedy to create a campaign for the new Dodge Journey. We parked 3 Journeys somewhere in the United States, and challenged anyone "if you can find it, you can have it." A live video feed of the car went up on Dodge's youtube channel, every few hours, we would release a short film, giving clues as to where exactly the car was hidden. This created some amazing interactions with treasure hunters driving across the country, as well as puzzle solvers analyzing footage from their computers. An entire website was created by a fan, just to encourage a community to share ideas and thoughts on where they may be hidden. My role on this campaign was to find and create these clues, sifting through obscure historical wikipedia articles and po-dunk town google map locations. It was hilarious watching the world try to figure out the game we created for them.
